Sensei Sam Winkley YONDAN 4th Dan, is one of Warriors assistant karate instructors. Sam is also the son of Sensei Tony Winkley. 

From an early age his father took him to karate lessons. Sam is a 4th Dan and is currently training for his 5th Dan. He is a member of the SKU England Squad. Sam has won numerous titles in both Kata and Kumite tournament categories. His competition successes include a number of national titles.

In 2017 as part of Sensei Damien McLaughlin’s last duties as Chief SKU Referee. Sensei Damien was pleased to be able to award Sensei Sam with his well-earned, Senior Karate Tournament Referee badge and qualification.
